The rest of the patchset is against the alsa-kernel repository which
unfortunately doesn't have the i2c-id header. I've had to give the
drivers a temp id atm, and was hoping this patch would make it into
mainline so I could give the drivers a real id before the next
alsa-kernel sync to mainline.
