Unfortunately, this wont apply :( 

The Alsa-kernel repo is basically a copy of the linux/sound directory so
there is no include/linux/i2c-id.h to patch against. I'll ask for this
file to be included in the alsa repo, so we shouldn't have this issue of
i2c audio patchsets spanning two maintainers/trees in the future.
