The i810 framebuffer driver is in its own right, it needs to access the
I2C (DDC) bus to get the right video timings for the connected monitor,
and only one driver can request a (PCI) device at any given time. The
plan is to get rid of the i2c-i810 driver in the feature. Same for
i2c-savage4 and i2c-provage, BTW.
If you have performance issues with the i2c busses of one of the Intel
framebuffer drivers, please report them to the maintainer of that
driver.
