What is DDCP? I know of DDC1 and DDC2, but never heard about DDCP.
If I read it correctly, your patch also adds support for multiple
adapters, support for a new device, and includes whitespace cleanups.
So you have 5 unrelated changes, these should be split to 5 different
patches.
Anyway, the i2c-i810 driver is more or less deprecated, as the i810fb
and intelfb framebuffer drivers now includes the same functionality. So
I would rather avoid doing large changes to i2c-i810 now, please use
the framebuffer drivers instead and send patches to their maintainers
if needed.
Thanks,
