[i2c] mixed-speed I2C system

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions on Linux I2C framework. Any comment or
answer will be highly appreciated.

Our I2C system has a combination of Fast (400kbps) and stardard
100kbps mode devices. Does the I2C framework naturally support mixed
speed devices? As a hack, we implemented a set_speed function for our
pxa I2C driver. But it is not a standard API and is not exported to
user space. :( Did anyone in the list try to do the similar thing on
i2c framework? So we could work together on that.
