Thanks.  It makes more sens to be accurate per message.

Another question is about I2C bus conflict. If the system has two i2c
bus masters,   the transactions may be failed due to the transaction
conflict. In the failing case, a reasonable action is to restart the
transaction after some time. My question is whether the I2C framework
handles the resend action or it is up to the i2c chip driver to do it?
