[i2c] [PATCH] i2c-dev: Split i2cdev_ioctl

Jean Delvare khali at linux-fr.org
Tue Feb 26 15:27:14 CET 2008

Split the handling of the I2C_RDWR and I2C_SMBUS ioctls to their own
functions. This saves one level of indentation and makes the code more
readable.

Originally I did this to limit the stack usage, however gcc cleverly
inlines the split functions anyway so it doesn't help at all. Still, I
think that the change is worth keeping for the increased readability.
