To do it right means incorporating as a 501(c)(3) corporation.
Officers, forms, annual fees and filings.
Then donations are tax-deductible.
The other method is, I suppose, is skip all that, create a PayPal
account, and see what happens.
I would guess Phil / Netroedge may have trouble with #2.
I don't hear any volunteers to do #1.
