Ticket #1078 followup

After examining the kernel.log output from the systems affected by the
strange -1 degrees readings, I see absolutely nothing at the time of the
problem. No i2o errors, no piix problems - nothing at all.

Is there some way to turn on enhanced debugging? Is there something else
we can do to help diagnose?

Has anything like this ever been seen before?
