Dear Rudolf,
dear listmembers,
thanks for replying - and take your time. I only had had the impression that I
possibly misinterpreted something / did not catch some hints you folks gave.
Nevertheless, because I did not get any more erratic behaviour right now -
this is always happening if you wait for something - I removed the 83627hf
driver once again, nevertheless leaving the lines in /etc/modprobe.conf.local
as they are.
lsmod | grep 83627 yields nothing, so I think the 83627 is not loaded.
Nevertheless there are many address accesses:
=0040,
=0042,

but (until now) the SMB-access reports do not state any more errors
in /var/log/messages.
Currently loaded:
i2c-amd756 i2c-isa w83781d eeprom
Thanks so far - take your time, I can wait if I know that nothings gone wrong.
Take care
Dieter Jurzitza
